Morris Christmas Gathering 2011!

Had 36 folks here for Morris Christmas gathering and we had fun. We did a cookie/candy exchange and did it dirty Santa style. I think all had fun and we sure had enough food, probably could have fed the neighbors as well. No matter weather was great so kids could go outside and I think that is part of what made it so fun. Daughter and future son-in-law were able to come from Iowa and son, wife, and grandkids stayed for us to have our family Christmas gift exchange. I think it was great and I really enjoyed all.

Eskimo Joe Lights on Patio!

Received Eskimo Joe lights for Christmas from daughter and future son-in-law and I hung them today. Can't believe it took me so long, but no matter it did. I guess that is the advantage of retirement, you do things whenever you want to. I like them and I put them on a timer so they should come on when dark and stay on for 4 hours, assuming the timer works correctly. I just love them!

Snow at Stillwater in January 2012!

Hey, we had snow in January 2012 here in Stillwater and it was fun, not too much and did not last long. It did not even hinder travel about town and really was not too cold, although it was a bit windy. Seemed to cover stuff a bit and really looked cool so to speak.

GRANDSON AND BASKETBALL!

Have really enjoyed watching Grandson play basketball. He really shoots pretty good considering the goal is 8 feet up in the air. He did this at the North OKC YMCA and I think he had a bunch of fun. The amount of play was kind of short, but no matter Papa had to be there as much as he could. Even got to see the youngest Grandson part of the time. I think he wanted to be on the court and play ball as well, but he be just a bit small for the other guys and gals. Anyway enjoy the pictures.
