We have returned from our week-long trip up north to Minnesota to visit our daughter for Thanksgiving. We took a side trip through Michigan to visit yet another Presidential library/museum, the Gerald Ford Museum in Grand Rapids. The curator, Mr. Holloway, is a freind of a relative, so we enjoyed a personalized tour of the museum that included a peek at some of the many items not on public display (such as an OSU football and a fur coat). Thanks, Mr. Holloway! It snowed lightly just before we left to come home, but Iowa actually had more snow on the ground than did Minneapolis.
