Quilting for Charity

The Camp Quilt is progressing more slowly than expected. The quilt should be finished well before the May deadline however. It will be auctioned off in May (along with many other quilts) and the proceeds will benefit Methodist church camps in Oklahoma.

The three main panels are pieced and quilted. The two smaller panels are pieced and layered. Soon we will have the main section joined together and ready to add simple borders. From the pictures, I hope you can tell it is a bar quilt. The decorated squares were done by campers last summer, in crayon. We have enough campers' squares to do a second, smaller quilt also.
