New Mexico Trip

Ken's sister Charlotte traveled with us to see niece & her family (Cynthia, Rodney & Jennifer) in Roswell, NM. She fixed us a great breakfast at their home and then we stopped at a wine distributor before going on to Lincoln City. That's where the legend of Billy the Kid began. We lunched at the Smokey the Bear restaurant before and driving a scenic highway to get back to Roswell. We watched the OSU vs Colorado football game. While the game was a winner for OSU, the beer and wine was a winner for those watching the game. Sunday we met for breakfast out and then said our goodbyes.

We went on to do other touristy things. We went to a pottery art show, a couple of alien stores and an antique store, then drove down to Carlsbad to spend the night. Monday we went to the Caverns then drove on to Lubbock, TX. On Tuesday we enjoyed antiquing and each others' company as we drove back to OKC. This was an enjoyable trip and we hope to go back sometime to enjoy the Balloonfest at Albuquerque.
