Keeping Grandson

In January we enjoyed staying a few days with our grandson while his parents vacationed.

First we took his Mommy and Daddy to the airport and watched some big airplanes taking off and landing. It took him about 24 hours to start asking for them, and when he did, we talked about the airplanes. Grandpa Ken played ball with him outside, even though it was rather cold.

One afternoon we went to the home and garden show at the fairgrounds. He sat on lawn tractor seats, played on a slide/swingset, and enjoyed watching fish in an acquarium. We had to admit to his parents he gave himself a black eye by falling headfirst onto the lounger lever! His other grandparents had a turn keeping him, also.
